Under the Sea
Snorkeling for the first time at Jeanie's
After practicing for a couple weeks in the pool, Magnus was finally ready to try snorkeling for real in the ocean. We went to Jeanie’s on a nice calm day and let him loose.
He loved it!

Like a Fish
We met up with some friends while there and they said that Magnus was the youngest little snorkeler they’d ever seen.
Aaron and I alternated going with him and watching the girls on the shore. I got to take him first and was so proud of how easily he got in and just started going. We saw a good number of fish too.
It’s funny because he talks the whole time… into his snorkel. It’s mostly a monologue for his own entertainment punctuated by some shrieks of joy and singing.
Oh, the simple pleasures of a child! Seriously though, I wish I could make out more of what he says because the bits I do catch are hilarious.

Sandy Bottom
The subhead above is in reference to Freya’s bottom. Who I am kidding, it’s in reference to all the kids bottoms after going to the beach.
Freya and Maev have the time of their lives playing in the sand. We’ve started limiting Maev’s shell collection because she finds too many itty bitty shells to count. She would happily play with them all day long if we didn’t interrupt her to go home or eat food.
Freya is absolutely enthralled with the sand, crawling around while plowing her hands through it. The struggle to keep it out of her mouth is real and not always successful, but we press on.
Jeanie’s was super fun and it was particularly satisfying seeing Magnus snorkel for the first time. As always, thanks for reading and be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already. Until next time!

I am so happy to see everyone having a blast. Can’t wait to be there with you💖💖
Magnus is an all round athlete, this will follow him all his life.. great way to live.😊🏆
